Hey hey, welcome back to another episode of the podcast. In today’s episode, we’re chatting all about what to do during slower months in your business.
With the summer in full swing and talks of a recession right around the corner, you may be experiencing a bit of a slow down in your business. Don’t worry – it’s pretty normal! The summer slowdown has occurred for me nearly every year since starting my business in 2016 so don’t fret – it’s not just you.
In this episode, I’m going to give you tips and tricks to help you combat the slower seasons in your business so that you can set yourself up for success and really thrive during those busier seasons of business.

Revamp your backend processes – So this is always something I recommend doing during slow seasons as there’s always something that can be made better or more efficient.
Work on a new offer – As I’m sure you’ve heard me mention plenty of times, as service providers we hardly ever take time to nurture our own businesses so take this downtime to craft a new offer whether it’s a new podcast service, a paid product, or a free challenge. Now is the perfect time to get a head start on these things.
Get ahead on client work – Another thing you can do during slower seasons is get ahead on your client work. Your schedule will be more open so you can have more space for other things and your client will be happy to be working further ahead.
Enjoy a little downtime – Summer is a time to relax so why not take a little break yourself? I know I will be taking like 9-10 days off late July and this will be my first long break in a long time.
